Grain / Star Setting - Intermediate
This 10-hour workshop teaches you how to star-set stones on your favourite pieces. Learn the flush and grain setting processes, how to use gravers, and create stone accommodations in metal.
The course is split into 2 allowing you to practise independently at home. When you return, we’ll review the techniques together, and you’ll receive professional feedback to sharpen your skills further. In the final session, you’ll set your stone using grain and flush settings.
Since home practice is required, the first class will introduce all necessary materials and tools. Feel free to ask any questions about the equipment.
