For Students Focusing Only on Mother-of-Pearl:
Ideal for those who want to exclusively work only with mother-of-pearl. Learn techniques to cut, shape, and refine this material to create decorative elements, pendants, without having any metal skills.
For Students Incorporating Stone Settings with Mother-of-Pearl:
Students who wish to combine mother-of-pearl with inlay gemstone settings, such as tube settings, star settings, or cabochon settings. However, please note:
This workshop does not include instruction on stone-setting techniques.
For those new to techniques like cabochon, star, or tube setting and you want to incorporate these techniques, we recommend completing the foundational Silversmith Courses that covers the specific technique(s), you wish to add and use, before attending this workshop.
Students with prior stone-setting experience can directly apply their knowledge during the workshop.
