‘Sculpt and Adorn’
25th Until the 28th of October 2024
Pop Up “Jewellery” Shop
Five Jewellers, one Pop-up’ is a jewellery showcase curated by renowned goldsmith Stelios Karantonas. Five jewellery makers, taught and mentored by Stelios Karantonas, will be showcasing hand-sculpted adornments at Broadworks gallery from October 25th to 28th, with an opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind piece from the immersive exhibition-style pop-up.
Pendants to rings, earrings to bangles, ‘Sculpt & Adorn’ is the selection of work from innovative young artisans advocating for a new era of experimental jewellery techniques. With a notable emphasis on craftsmanship nurtured by Stelios himself, sculpt refers to the intentional precision of adornment that has long been overlooked in the public sphere. Bold, unique, and unparalleled designs pull the adorner out from the unconscious ritual of putting on jewellery, into a purposeful and deliberate adornment of artistry.

Aslan On The Move
-
Creating jewellery is like a meditation for Jo-Lynne, the designer of Aslan On The Move. She sits at the bench and waits to see what her imagination comes up with.
She gets excited for her pieces to motivate a feeling in the wearer that potentially inspires layers of art upon art with individual expression, like a never ending creative loop.

Celine Camille Jewellery
-
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Celine moved to London in 2018 to pursue a career in development. Staying true to the 13 year-old girl who earned pocket money by selling pendants on etsy, she shortly began making rings for herself and friends that she couldn't find elsewhere. The boldness of her work soon attracted the attention of individuals seeking statement jewellery and unique wedding rings alike.
Celine’s design is informed by ‘imperfect’, asymmetrical shapes that mimic the silhouettes of earthly mediums. Unbothered with the uniformed perfection of mainstream jewellery, Celine sought lava droplets, sharp corners, large claws, and overlooked gems to inject organic, earthly beauty into the traditional ideas of jewellery.

De Rosario Jewellery
-
De Rosario was born out of Rosario’s love and passion for jewellery as an art, a wearable form of expression and an extension of oneself. For Rosario, expression is that of dynamism, of independence, of a desire to laugh at life.
The jewellery is inspired by days spent between Granada and London.

Oneida Studio
-
Oneira Studio, created by jeweller Gemma Miller, draws inspiration from the mysteries of dreams and her passion for mythology. The name “Oneira,” meaning “dreams” in Greek, reflects Gemma’s fascination with ancient tales.
Inspired by the myth of Ariadne’s thread, which she handed to Theseus to help him escape the labyrinth, Gemma incorporates the intricate technique of filigree to reflect this delicate and symbolic thread in her designs, bringing the stories of myth into the modern day.
Gemma’s jewellery is designed to inspire and empower, celebrating the duality of life with a blend of ancient aesthetics and a modern twist. Each piece weaves together timeless myths and personal meaning, evoking deeper connections and a sense of purpose for those who wear them.
